\nMay 4, 1844
\nProven: May 5, 1845<\/p>\n
I, William Baldwin<\/b>, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me made (at) any time.<\/p>\n
First. I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors.<\/p>\n
Second. I give and bequeath unto my son William <\/b>the west end of my plantation where I now live, also the tract I purchased of McCraw<\/b> by him paying my present debts, and also my son Nicholas<\/b> fifty dollars (on?) a horse when he become of age.<\/p>\n
Thirdly. I will and bequeath unto my son John<\/b> the east end of my home plantation, by him paying to my son Nicholas<\/b> fifty dollars in a horse when he becomes of age.<\/p>\n
Fourthly. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary <\/b>the use of my plantation during her widowhood.<\/p>\n
Fifthly. I will and bequeath that my daughters, Viz: Ann, Mary Esther<\/b> and Elizabeth Jane<\/b> have each a good feather bed and clothing and one good cow each.<\/p>\n
Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son William K. Baldwin <\/b>my Executor. In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal This the 4th day of May, 1844.<\/p>\n
