“Freeholders and inhabitants” of Rogersville, Hawkins County, petitioned the legislature to pass an act “to the effect that said petitioners shall not be obliged to repair roads outside their town.\u00a0 They are compelled to repair a bridge and the streets of the town, and they feel they should be exempt from working on roads outside of town.\u00a0 Signed by:<\/p>\n
