Notes for DANIEL REYNOLDS: Daniel&#8217;s surname has also been noted as RANDLES, RANDOLS, &amp; RUNNELS. 1820 Census of Ashe Co, NC 1831 Tax Rolls Show Him Living Next TO Clarkstons 1840 Census of Lee Co, VA 1850 Census Says Nancy&#8217;s father was born in Ohio There is a Daniel Randols in the 1800 Ashe Co, NC Census that is of an age to be this Daniel&#8217;s father. This Daniel apparently did not own land, as exhaustive searches have never shown him as paying land tax. Perhaps he was just successful at avoiding the tax people? The children of Daniel have never been proven by any documentation. It is compiled strictly by circumstantial evidence and proximity. All of this needs to be verified before taken as fact.
