TALLEY’S CHAPEL CEMETERY
\nI am trying to compile as complete a list as possible of all those buried in TALLEY’S CHAPEL CEMETERY, Russellville, TN. The cemetery was created prior to the creation of Hamblen Co so many folks from Hawkins Co are buried there. A survey of the cemetery was completed in the 1930s and again in the 1980s. There were only about 20 or so tombstones with names and since then some of them have disappeared. Approximately 125 unmarked graves are there. I know about 15 of the unmarked ones but that leaves many unknown. My family is going to erect a marker with the names of all known burials who don’t have a private marker next summer. If any of you have relatives buried there please let me know. Thank you so much.

Mary Jane and William then moved to Missouri where they lived and raised their family. I have no information on Ellis MILLIKEN or Allie WOLFE other than they were Mary Jane’s parents. I believe Mary Jane had a sister Alice. THANKS!
