\nGRIDER, Frank “F.J.”: F.J. Grider was my g-g grandfather;he was married to Cordelia Allen, daughter of James and Lucinda Wolfe Allen. He was born June 21,1875, but I’m not sure where. His mother’s name was Elizabeth Ann. She had two children with her first husband-Martha ? Trent, and Bob ? I don’t know what her maiden name or first married name was. Her first husband died around 1870 and she remarried a Grider. They had several children, including Frank and Dasie who married Mose McGinnes. Frank lived in Hancock or Grainger Co. with Cordie and had 4 children: Hobart, Blanche, Beulah, and Mae. He died in 1919. Does anyone know his father’s name? He was born in NC, and moved to TN. \nSarah HOLLAND appears in the 1840 Hawkins census. She was between 70-80 years old. 3 other Holland households also appear: Leonard Holland, John Holland (my GG Grandfather) and Nathaniel Holand.
