The Hawkins County census of 1840 lists the <b>Wright<\/b>&#8216;s with 8 children, 6 males and 2 females. The family members listed below have been reconstructed from the Hawkins County census of 1850 and the records of the new Providence Presbyterian Church where the <b>Wright<\/b>&#8216;s held membership. <b>Robert Wright <\/b>and <b>Priscilla <\/b>were admitted on 6 August 1826 and their children, <b>John Calvin<\/b>, <b>Mary Elizabeth<\/b> and <b>Leander Wesley Wright <\/b>were baptized 17 June 1827. In addition another child <b>Martha<\/b> is known, from the marriage records of Hawkins County as she was married to <b>Barnet G. Simpson<\/b> on 27 May 1841 by <b>Robert Cooper<\/b>, J.P. In addition the child <b>Hallen<\/b> is supplied by <b>Bess Church McDonald<\/b>.
