Priscllia Galbraith<\/b>, daughter of John Galbraith<\/b> and his wife Martha Larkins<\/b>, was born 14 August 1791 and married Robert Wright<\/b> on the 2nd day of August 1813. Robert<\/b> served as a Justice of the Peace in Hawkins County for several years. The Hawkins County census of 1840 lists the Wright<\/b>‘s with 8 children, 6 males and 2 females. The family members listed below have been reconstructed from the Hawkins County census of 1850 and the records of the new Providence Presbyterian Church where the Wright<\/b>‘s held membership. Robert Wright <\/b>and Priscilla <\/b>were admitted on 6 August 1826 and their children, John Calvin<\/b>, Mary Elizabeth<\/b> and Leander Wesley Wright <\/b>were baptized 17 June 1827. In addition another child Martha<\/b> is known, from the marriage records of Hawkins County as she was married to Barnet G. Simpson<\/b> on 27 May 1841 by Robert Cooper<\/b>, J.P. In addition the child Hallen<\/b> is supplied by Bess Church McDonald<\/b>. The Robert Wright family<\/b>, as reconstructed from the sources quoted above is shown below:<\/p>\n
