I give and bequeath to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Eliza Cocke<\/span>, wife of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Frederick Cocke<\/span> the tract of land willed to me by my father <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">James Forgey<\/span> lying on the south side of Holston River above Surgoinesville to her, her heirs and assigns forever.<\/p>\n<p> Second. I give and bequeath to my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Matilda Rogers<\/span> my negro girl <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Elsey<\/span> which was willed to me by my father <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">James Forgey<\/span>, to her, her heirs and assigns forever.<\/p>\n<p> Lastly. I constitute and appoint <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Frederick Cocke<\/span> Executor to this, my last Will &amp; Testament.<\/p>\n<p>In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal The 17th day of August, 1837.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Ellen Rogers<\/span> (seal)<\/p>\n<p> Signed, sealed published and declared in the presence of:<\/p>\n<p> <b>John Cocke<br \/> G.
