In the Name of God, Amen.<\/p>\n
I Henry Felcknor<\/span> of the County of Hawkins in the State of Tennessee, being sick and weak in body but sound of mind &c, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say.<\/p>\n I give and bequeath unto my wife Rosanna Felcknor<\/span> all my household goods of every kind, and all my stock of every kind, consisting of cattle and sheep and hogs (as for horses, I have not any), during her life and then to be sold by my Executors and equally divided amongst my daughters and my grand daughters, Polly Lewis Felcknor<\/span>, daughter to Louis Felcknor<\/span>, deceased, (Catherine<\/span>, wife to Anthony Baker<\/span>, Charlotte<\/span>, wife to George Baker<\/span>, Elizabeth<\/span> wife to Stophel Shotts<\/span>, Tweday<\/span> wife to Phillip P. Baker<\/span>, Susan<\/span> wife to Jacob Sensabaugh<\/span> and my grand daughter Polly Lewis Felcknor<\/span>).<\/p>\n I allow my Executors to take an inventory of my stock at my death.<\/p>\n I give and bequeath unto my son Jacob Felcknor<\/span> the tract of land I now live on and all my lands adjoining said tract,<\/p>\n and further I injoin it on my son Jacob to furnish his mother with every necessary she stands in need of during her life.<\/p>\n I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Shotts<\/span> the one half of the tract of land I own in Sullivan County or the value thereof when sold.<\/p>\n I give unto my sons Phillip<\/span>, Martin<\/span>, George<\/span> & Jacob<\/span> each an equal part of 100 acres of land I purchased lying near the Muscle Shoals<\/p>\n and if said land should not be obtained, I leave my son Jacob<\/span> to pay my son Martin<\/span> one hundred dollars,<\/p>\n and lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Jacob Felcknor<\/span> and Arthur Galbraith Armstrong<\/span> to be my sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.<\/p>\n In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal.<\/p>\n Henry Felcknor<\/span> (seal)<\/p>\n This fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight hundred and Ten, in the presence of the subscribing witnesses.<\/p>\n Test:<\/p>\n W.
