Proven: Feb. 1857 & R’d p 25<\/p>\n
I, Jonadab Wade<\/span> do make and publish this my last Will & Testament, hereby revoking and making void all other will by me at any time made.<\/p>\n First. I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor.<\/p>\n Secondly. I want a respectable set of tombstones erected at my grave, also I wish to have my grave enclosed by a post and plank fence.<\/p>\n Thirdly. I wish and desire to have all my personal property disposed of my public sale as soon as possible.<\/p>\n Fourthly. I wish and desire that my Executor pay to my brother John<\/span> the sum of $40.00 due him by account.<\/p>\n Fifthly. My wish and desire is that my brothers and sisters have the remainder of my Estate after my Executor has paid all my debts.<\/p>\n Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint William E. Carmack<\/span> my Exec.<\/p>\n In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal. This 18th day of January, 1857.<\/p>\n Jonadab Wade<\/span> (seal)<\/p>\n Signed, sealed and published in our presence, and we have subscribed our names hereto in the presence of the Testator. This 18th day of January, 1857.<\/p>\n Attest:<\/p>\n J. B. C. Edmondson<\/span> A codicil to the last will —<\/p>\n I, Jonadab Wade<\/span>, having heretofore made and published my last Will and Testament do make and declare this a codicil thereto, to wit:<\/p>\n First. My will and desire is that my Executor be required to act only on the property that I have in this county.<\/p>\n Lastly, it is my desire that this codicil be attached to and constitute a part of my will to all intents and purposes.
