I commit my soul into the hands of God who gave it, and my body to the dust to be buried in Christian decency at the discretion of my Executor, in hopes to receive it again at the general resurrection by the mighty power of God, and as for the portion of things which God has been pleased to bestow upon me, I dispose of in the manner following:<\/p>\n<p>I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ann<\/span> the use of my plantation and the service of my slaves during her widowhood; also, I leave her all my farming utensils, two work horses named George and Jack, two mules such as she shall choose, and all my household furniture, cattle, sheep and hogs.<\/p>\n<p>To my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ann<\/span> I give one horse known by the name of the Orphan Colt.<\/p>\n<p>To my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary<\/span> I give one horse creature or fifteen pounds, Virginia money.<\/p>\n<p>To my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rebekah<\/span>, I leave one horse creature of fifteen pounds Virginia money. To my sons <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Robert<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Samuel<\/span>, I leave my plantation to be equally divided between them, quantity, quality and improvements considered; likewise, my two negroes to be valued and equally divided between the, and if the negro wench should ever have issue, the first two children, or if but one, to be equally divided between my two daughters, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rebekah<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, I will that the remainder of my horse creatures be sold and the money raised thereby be equally divided between my two sons <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Robert<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Samuel<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, all bonds, notes and book debts except so much as pays all my lawful debts.<\/p>\n<p>And further, I appoint and nominate my wife <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ann<\/span>, her son <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">David Kinkead<\/span>, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">David Kinkead<\/span> her sister&#8217;s son [<span style=\"font-style: italic\">sic<\/span>] to be my sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, making void all other Wills and Testaments heretofore made.<\/p>\n<p>In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and seal.
