I direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid as soon as possible out of any money that I may die possessed or, or may first come into the hands of my Executor.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nelly<\/span> all my land, being the tract on which I now live, for and during her natural life and no longer.<\/p>\n<p>Thirdly. The land mentioned in the above bequest at the death of my wife, I give and bequeath to my three children (to wit), my son, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Allen<\/span>, my daughters, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rebecca<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Susan<\/span>, to be equally divided between them on account of their having helped me to pay for said land.<\/p>\n<p>Fourthly. I give and bequeath to my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rebecca<\/span> one large pot.<\/p>\n<p>Fifthly. I give and bequeath to my son <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Allen<\/span>, my daughters <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rebecca<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Susan<\/span> all my personal property that may be on hand, if any, after paying all my just debts, to be equally divided between them.<\/p>\n<p>Last. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Allen<\/span> my Executor.<\/p>\n<p>In witness whereof I do to his my will set my hand and seal. This 7th day of February, 1858.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Allen<\/span> [<span style=\"font-style: italic\">X<\/span>] <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Vaughan<\/span> (seal) (his mark)<\/p>\n<p>Signed, sealed and published in our presence, and we have subscribed out names hereto in the presence of the Testator.
