In the Name of God, Amen.<\/p>\n
This the last Will and Testament of Eli Overton<\/b> of County of Hawkins and State of Tennessee is as followeth: Viz:<\/p>\n
He the said Eli Overton<\/b> finding himself sick and weak of body, but in perfect mind and memory Blessed be God therefore and calling to mind the frailty of this life and the certainty of death, I do ordain and make this my last Will and Testament in form and manner as followeth:<\/p>\n
Imprimis. I do recommend my soul unto the hand of God that gave it, and my body to the Earth to be enterred therein with decent and Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors hereafter to be named.<\/p>\n
And as for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to bless me with, I do will and bequeath in manner and form as followeth, Viz:<\/p>\n
Item. I give and bequeath all my land and plantation where I now live with all the rest of my whole Estate of every description of stock and household and kitchen furniture to my beloved wife Milley Overton<\/b> during her lifetime and after her decease then my desire is that everything of my whole Estate that remains shall be equally divided between Sallay Grantum<\/b> and Seally Grantum<\/b>.<\/p>\n
I do give and bequeath it to them and their heirs forever.<\/p>\n
This I do make and ordain it my last Will & Testament.<\/p>\n
I do also leave my beloved wife Milley Overton<\/b> and James Murrel<\/b> my Executors to act for me.<\/p>\n
