I, William Epperson<\/b> of the County of Hawkins, State of Tennessee, being weak of body but thanks be to God, of sound mind & memory, do make constitute and ordain this my last Will & Testament in the manner and form hereafter described, that is to say:<\/p>\n
My will and wish is that after my decease my Executors pay all my just debts, and further, my wish is that he pay to my daughter Huldy<\/b> now Huldy Boyd<\/b> the sum of fifty cents, also pay my daughter Phanny<\/b>, now Phanny Beard<\/b> fifty cents, also my son Hopson Epperson<\/b> fifty cents & also pay my daughter Sina<\/b>, now Sina Bradshaw<\/b> fifty cents and also to my daughter Kassia<\/b>, now Kassia McCleane<\/b> fifty cents & also pay to my son Stephen Epperson<\/b> fifty cents, also pay to my daughter Susannah<\/b>, now Susannah Dickard<\/b> fifty cents, & for the many good services my daughter Nancey<\/b> have rendered us, my will and wish is that she have her cow, her wheel, bed and furniture.<\/p>\n
The remainder of my property of every description I do give and bequeath unto my loving wife Nancy Epperson<\/b> during her life, and after her decease, all such property on hand after her just debts is paid be given to my dutiful son Harrison Epperson<\/b>, together with the like sum of fifty cents.<\/p>\n
And I do further constitute, make and appoint my son Harrison Epperson<\/b> my lawful Executor of this my last Will and Testament.<\/p>\n
In witness thereof I have made my mark This [illegible] day of December, 1823.<\/p>\n
