I, Nancy Hord<\/b> of the County of Hawkins and State of Tennessee do make and publish this my last Will and Testament , hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. <\/p>\n
First. I direct that all my funeral expenses and just debts be paid out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or that may first come into the hands of my Executors <\/p>\n
Second. I do give and bequeath unto my children, Eldridge, Thomas, William<\/b> and Lucretia Rowan<\/b>, formerly Hord<\/b>, all the property real and personal that I die possessed of except what (I herein dispose of). <\/p>\n
That is, that William<\/b>‘s share be $100.00 less than the others on account of a still that he has received. <\/p>\n
Also that the children of my son Stanwix<\/b>, dec’d. jointly receive a share equal to one of my own children which shall be divided among them as follows: Nancy<\/b> and Malvina Hord<\/b>‘s share to be equal, William Stanwix Hord<\/b>‘s share five hundred dollars more than Nancy <\/b>or Malvina<\/b>.<\/p>\n
I do further will and direct that my negro slave Hannah<\/b> be freed at my death. <\/p>\n
I do hereby make, ordain and appoint my son Eldridge Hord<\/b> and Robert W. Kinkead,<\/b> Executors of this my last Will and Testament. <\/p>\n
In witness whereof I have unto this my will written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal, This 5th day of October, 1837. <\/p>\n
