Be it remembered that I Benony Harris <\/b>of the County of Hawkins, State of Tennessee, being low in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory doth make this my last Will & Testament in the manner and form following:<\/p>\n
First. I do order that all my lawful and just debts be paid out of my personal property.<\/p>\n
Then I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Rachael <\/b>all my personal property during her widowhood, and also I bequeath unto my beloved wife Rachael<\/b> full possession of all my lands during her widowhood.<\/p>\n
And then I do order that when my two youngest sons, William<\/b> and Isam,<\/b> shall become of age, that she shall let them have one horse, saddle and bridle worth $100.00, to make them equal with my two oldest sons, Absalom<\/b> and James Harris<\/b>.<\/p>\n
And then I do order that as my daughters shall become of age, namely Sally, Polly , Janny, Lutey <\/b>& Elizabeth<\/b>, that my wife Rachael <\/b>let each of them have one cow and calf with each of them a bed,<\/p>\n
and I do order that at the end of my wife’s widowhood, the residue of my personal property with all my lands be sold and an equal divide made between all my ears of the money arising from such sale,<\/p>\n
and I do appoint my wife Rachael<\/b> as Executrix of this my last will testament [sic<\/span>], revoking all former wills made by me.<\/p>\n In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal.
