In the Name of God, Amen,<\/p>\n
I, Christley Grose<\/b> of Hawkins County within the State of Tennessee, being of full age and sound memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in the words and figures following (to wit)<\/p>\n
Item. I give and bequeath to James McVay<\/b> of said County a certain tract or parcel of land lying in said County of Hawkins containing 150 acres, lying near the lands of Thomas Ingram<\/b> and John Young<\/b> between Carters and Stanleys Valley.<\/p>\n
Also, I give unto said McVay<\/b> one still containing sixty-five gallons, and that this my last will may be more understood,<\/p>\n
I do ordain that said James McVay<\/b> be sole and entire heir of all the property that I now have both real and personal.<\/p>\n
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal This sixteenth day of October, 1809.<\/p>\n
