In the Name of God, Amen.<\/p>\n
I John Vaughan<\/span>, being very weak in body but of sound mind and memory, calling to mind that it is appointed for all men to die doth make this my last Will & Testament.<\/p>\n In the first place, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Judy Vaughan<\/span> all my house furniture and with my horses, cattle and hogs as long as she lives,<\/p>\n and then for her to divide all that property equally between Polly Wilson<\/span>, Benjamin<\/span> and Isham<\/span>, a son of my daughter Clary<\/span>‘s to have his part equal to the other three,<\/p>\n and there is William<\/span> and Agathe<\/span> and Jonathan <\/span>shall have five shillings each.<\/p>\n Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand and caused my seal to be affixed.
