Burem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Book 2, Pages 160-161<br \/>\nProven: August Term 1876<\/p>\n<p>I, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Margaret S. Burem<\/span>, wife of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">A. S. Burem<\/span> of the County of Hawkins, State of Tennessee claiming this day to be of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament, revoking all former wills by me made.<\/p>\n<p>1st &#8212; After my death I desire my funeral expenses and just debts paid out of any personal property I may die possessed.<\/p>\n<p>2nd &#8212; To my only surviving daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie C. Armstrong<\/span>, wife of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">W. S. Armstrong<\/span>, I give the use and enjoyment of all my real estate to have the entire ___ and profits of the same during her natural life.<\/p>\n<p>3rd &#8212; The title to said real estate shall rest at my death in the children of my said daughter who may be surviving at my death and the death of my said daughter. This real estate consists in the one half of the farm lying in the 8th civil district of Hawkins County, descended to my by the death of my brother, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">James Kinchelo<\/span> and known as the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Kinchelo<\/span> farm, particularly described by deed of the Chancery Court at Rogersville, and as evidence of title after my death my executor will hand over to said <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie<\/span> in trust for her said children said title papers.<\/p>\n<p>Also, one other tract adjoining <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Forgey Miller<\/span> and others known as the reserve deeded to me by said Chancery Court and conveyed to me by <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">C. W. Hale<\/span> [?]. At my death my executor will hand over to said <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie<\/span> said deed, who will hold the same in trust for her children, it being my intention that said <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie<\/span> shall have the use of said land while she lives thence this will revert to her children surviving to wit: <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">William H.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Alice R.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lula J.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Eddie<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bobbie<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Charlie<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie Armstrong<\/span>, and any other living child said <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie<\/span> may bear hereafter to be held and divided amongst them equally share and share alike, the rights and title to vest in said children at my death, with this encumbrance of their said mother.<\/p>\n<p>4th &#8212; I do also give to my said daughter all my wearing apparel of every kind that I may leave at my death and all my bed clothes except what is disposed of other ways.<\/p>\n<p>5th &#8212; I give a bed and clothing each to my grand daughters, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Alice R.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lula J.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie Armstrong<\/span> and if they get them before my death then this bequest will be satisfied.<\/p>\n<p>I also give to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie<\/span> each a small dining table now in the house.<\/p>\n<p>I give to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Alice<\/span> my yellow trunk and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lula J.<\/span>, my black trunk.<\/p>\n<p>To <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie<\/span> I give my double white tablecloth.<\/p>\n<p>Four other tablecloths each to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Alice R.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lula J.<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mary<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>My new sidesaddle I give to my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie<\/span> also my small brass ___ and bell ___ kettle.<\/p>\n<p>I nominate my daughter, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie C. Armstrong<\/span> my executrix and she will take her office without giving security.<\/p>\n<p>I give to my son <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Henry S. Burem<\/span>, fifty dollars in gold and silver out of which he will buy my grand daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie Armstrong<\/span> one set (6) large table silver spoons also one set (6) tea spoons silver with such initials as he may designate on them.<\/p>\n<p>I also give my daughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sallie C. Armstrong<\/span>, for my granddaughter <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maggie<\/span> when she comes of age or marry one of the parlor mirrors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold\">Margaret S.
