A copy of Brother Nelsons letter:
We the babtis [sic] Church of Christ at snow Creeke [sic] Stokes County Northcarilina [sic] holding the Doctrine of Election affectial [sic] caulling [sic] Jestification [sic] by the Imputed Righteousness of Christ the final presiverarance [sic] of the saints Do Recommend this our brother William Nelson as an ordily [sic] member in full fellowship and by this our letter we Do Dismiss him from under our wachceare [sic] when joined to any other Church of same faith and order sind [sic] by order of the Church September the 17 1814
