VERMILLION, STOUT

I am searching for the parents of Robert E (C?) Gaines (b. cir 1812) and Celia Corum (b. cir 1814) who were married on 1/13/1835 in Grainger, Cty. and are listed in the 1860 census. He is probably the grandson of Robert Gaines (b. cir 1739 in Orange Cty, VA. and d. cir 1805 in Grainger Cty) and Mildred Bohannon. I believe the family was living in the portin of Hawkins Cty. which was used to form Grainger Cty. Robert E. Gaines is possibly the son of Robert Gaines, Jr. (b. cir 1772) or Ambrose Gaines (b. 7/7/1763). Any information about either the Gaines or Corum families would be appreciated.

Looking for information on my HAGOOD ancestors, Arden S. HAGOOD (1839-?); John Wesley HAGOOD (?-1906) and James Stephen HAGOOD (1893-1979)-born Hawkins Co.,TN. Arden Hagood resided in Jefferson County, TN when he enlisted into CSA military unit Walker’s Battalion, Thomas’ Legion, Company G as a Private in September, 1862. His birthplace is given as Hawkins County, TN. About November, 1862 this company became Company H of 1st (Carter’s) Regiment Tennessee Calvary. Searching for Richard MORRISON married Martha Light Hennards.They had several children. My g-gr father, Henry Nelson MORELOCK married Sara Emma Lou RYAN.
