Summer
Independence Day Festival and Parade — Historic Rogersville sponsors a huge Fourth of July Celebration, bringing together more than 50,000 people annually. In addition to one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southeast, the festival features a free concert by a country music superstar. Mount Carmel Block Party — 2nd weekend in July

Archie Campbell Days — Labor Day weekend
The citizens of Bulls Gap celebrate their most famous son, the comedian from CBS’s variety-comedy show Hee-Haw, with this street festival in downtown Olde Bulls Gap on Labor Day Weekend. Hawkins County Heritage Days — 2nd weekend in October
Named a “Top Twenty Event in the Southeast” for October, Heritage Days is one of the most memorable festivals in the region. Crowds of more than 40,000 have taken part of the heritage experience in the past, and each year more and more people learn why Historic Rogersville is one of Tennessee’s best kept secrets. Rogersville Christmas Parade — 1st Saturday in December

Tour of Homes, Merchant Open House, and Yule Log Ceremony — December
An annual tradition in Historic Rogersville includes a celebration of the holidays with a tour of the town’s homes and residences that are apart of the National Register of Historic Places, special events and sales as a part of the merchants and businesses in the downtown district, and a traditional lighting of a holiday Yule Log. 423-272-1961
