Elizabeth Galbraith {1199}, daughter of Arthur Galbraith {1195} and Mary Sharp {1196} was born 4 April 1772 and married William Armstrong III {1216} on 11 August 17871.William was born 10 March 1757 in Augusta County, Virginia and died on 19 January 1835 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. He was the son of William Armstrong II, who was born in 1712 in Ireland, and came to America with his father in 1734. He married William III’s mother, Mary Caldwell in Virginia. Elizabeth died 24 January 1831 and both she and her husband are buried in the New Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Hawkins County.

8. Louisiana Armstrong, {1265} born 13 July 1805, died 15 July 1835. Married Frederick S. DeWolfe, {2764}. He was born 5 March 1801, died 15 April 1839. Both are buried in New Providence Cemetery. Frederick S. DeWolfe was married for the second time to Harriet Young (daughter of John Young {1215}), on 4 January 1838 She was born 16 December 1806 and died 4 November 1883. She is also buried in New Providence Cemetery. Frederick and Harriet had a young child that died on 31 January 1839, just 2 months before the death of Frederick.
9. Margaret Aloisa Armstrong, {1266} born 22 November 1808, married John Hamond Cook {2765}, moved to Pendleton, Madison County, Indiana and died there in 1849.
10. Julia Armstrong, (1267) born 27 March 1811, died 26 March 1894 married David Lyons {2766}. David was born 12 September 1809, died 12 September 1864 Both are buried in New Providence Cemetery.

In Grundy Co., TN Deed book “C” page 284 William Armstrong deeds property to daughter Martha McCraw wife of William McCraw. **The Hawkins County Census for 1840 shows Clinton with 3 Males under 5, 1 male 5-10, 1 male 10-15, and 2 males 15-20, plus Clinton in the 40-50 age bracket. 1 Female in the 5-10 bracket, 1 female 20-30 and his wife in the 40-50 bracket.
