Proven: May 5, 1845

I, William Baldwin, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me made (at) any time.

First. I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors.

Second. I give and bequeath unto my son William the west end of my plantation where I now live, also the tract I purchased of McCraw by him paying my present debts, and also my son Nicholas fifty dollars (on?) a horse when he become of age.

Thirdly. I will and bequeath unto my son John the east end of my home plantation, by him paying to my son Nicholas fifty dollars in a horse when he becomes of age.

Fourthly. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary the use of my plantation during her widowhood.

Fifthly. I will and bequeath that my daughters, Viz: Ann, Mary Esther and Elizabeth Jane have each a good feather bed and clothing and one good cow each.

Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint my son William K. Baldwin my Executor. In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal This the 4th day of May, 1844.
