\u00a0<\/p>\n
On motion and it appearing to the court that JOHN R CRAWFORD<\/strong> late of Hardeman\u00a0County, TN., is dead and hath left no will: and it further appearing that said\u00a0deceased left no will: and it further appearing to that said deceased left no\u00a0widow, but the following children: WILLIAM CRAWFORD<\/strong>, WILEY CRAWFORD<\/strong>, EMMA\u00a0CRAWFORD<\/strong>, MILLAND CRAWFORD<\/strong>, JOHN CRAWFORD<\/strong>, all minors save William Crawford<\/strong> and\u00a0that the two last named are under age 15 years of age, and all without regular\u00a0Guardian.<\/p>\n It is ordered that ROBERT N MITCHELL<\/strong>, D.S. WEBB<\/strong> & LEVI LOCKMAN<\/strong> three suitable and\u00a0disinterested persons be and they are hereby appointed commissioners, to lay off\u00a0and set apart for the use of and benefit of the said minor heirs under 15 years of\u00a0age, the personal property exempt to them by law, and also a years provisions out\u00a0of said deceased estate, and make report to the next term of this court.<\/p>\n W.E. Donion Clerk<\/p>\n To the matter to the order of sale of property allotted as exempt and for the\u00a0support to the minor heirs of John R. Crawford deceased. In this cause the court\u00a0for good & sufficient reason therewith moving the court is pleased to order the\u00a0property heretofore ordered to be made at the residence of GEORGE CRAWFORD instead\u00a0of Crainville.<\/p>\n One years support for the children of JOHN R. CRAWFORD deceased March Term 1878<\/p>\n We the undersigned shareholders after being duly commissioned have proceeded to\u00a0sit apart to the minor children of John R. Crawford deceased under 15 years of\u00a0age, the property exempt to them by law, as follows: 2 mules, 2 cows, 1 calf, 10\u00a0head of hogs, 1 wagon & harness, 2 beds, bedsteads and necessary clothing for\u00a0each, 500 bins of fodder, 1 stack of hay, 300 lbs. Bacon, 9 bushels of wheat, 1\u00a0table, 1 set cooking utensils, 1 wash kettle, 1 sieve, scythe, 1 cradle, 2 wash\u00a0tubs, 1 chopping axe, 1 grubbing hoe, 1 bureau, 2 plows, 12 plates & set knives, 1\u00a0set spoons, 2 weeding hoes, 8 chairs, 1 mans saddle<\/p>\n Also a years support out of the remainder of the personal estate as follows: 1\u00a0cow, 2 hogs, 500 bins fodder, 8 bins peas, 9 bins oats, \u00bd bushel millet seed, 1\u00a0haw, 1 fire shovel, 2 meal sacks, 1 grindstone, 1 chopping axe, 1 small sewing\u00a0machine, 2 metallic well buckets, 2 shovel stocks & plows, 1 trunk, 1 side harrow.<\/p>\n Signed R.N.
