Robert was two years and two days old. He was sick three months and bore his suffering patiently. He was a beautiful and lovable child, the pet of the household and friends. How his mother, who so tenderly nursed him while hoping and trusting each day he would be better tomorrow, will miss him. In taking from your arms this little one, I pray that you will try to accept the cross and bear it.
