This is an update to my previous query. My father is Kenneth Elmer DAVIS born 5/17/37. His mother was Ella Mae RAYL and father was Edgar Durr DAVIS. Ella's parents were John Samuel RAYL and Kizzie SCOGGINS. Edgar and Ella I found together on a 1920 census with older cousins (SIMS) have not found them on a 1930 census I am having difficulty with his parents... I believe Sarah I DAVIS is his mother and siblings were Leona M, William F, Addie T, and youngest Rozella. My Dad says he knew of a Uncle Fred, Aunt Trifinie (sp?) and Aunt Rosie. I am assuming these people are them no father listed dead and 1890 census is unavailable. Please if you can help contact rockytopking@msn.com put in subject DAVIS - RAYL so I don't junk your email. Both Ella and Edgar lived in James county which became part of Hamilton in 1919. Ella and Edgar had Edward, Evelyn, Eugene and Kenneth Elmer DAVIS. Ella died in 1973 and was born in 1903. Thanks for any help.
