I am looking for information on Palestine DAVIS, Louisa Jane NEWMAN,and Younger WARDRIP. Louisa Jane was a full blood Cherokee fromTennessee and Palestine was her sister-in-law. KENNEDY, SWANN
Searching for information on my grandfather, William KENNEDY (b: abt1872). According to the marriage bond, William KENNEDY (he signed the bond Willie) married my grandmother Ida SWANN in Warren Co., in Feb 1904. According to the 1910 Census for Warren Co., he was listed as Will P. KENNEDY. This census listed Will, M.J.I.A (Mary Jane Ida Arvilla-my grandmother), and their two daughters…my dad wasn’t born at the time of the census. That is all I can find on William. My grandmother married a Robert Marshall DAVENPORT (between 1910 and1922) and lived in Rutherford Co., for the rest of her life. We aren’t sure if William and Ida divorced or he died.
