SANDERS; COPE; BOULDIN
I am looking for any information on Solomon & Mary SANDERS. Both are from North Carolina and had descendants who were members of the Eastern Cherokee Nation. They may have had relatives in the Western Nation. He was born in 1740 and she was born in 1778 . They had children Nancy, Sally Jacob, Jordan, George, and Silas. Stephen COPE was possibly born in the middle to late 1700’s, place unknown. His wife was possibly born in Ky. same time frame. They were supposed to have been full blood Cherokee. Their children that I know of: Amos, Polly, Nancy, and the “maybes” Elizabeth, George, James, John, and Louisa COPE.

GUINN, CHILDERS, FRANKLIN
Does anyone have any information on the Rev. William G. GUINN (b. 1796), born possibly in Warren County, lived in Franklin, Grundy and Coffee Counties? He may hav e lived in the same area all his life, but it looks like he moved due to county boundary changes. He had a large family and his second wife was Priscilla Burrows (m. by 1835). It seems he was related to Elisha and Champion GUINN and possibly Elias GUINN of Warren Co. My great great grandfather, Elisha GUINN, son of the REV. Wm. GUINN or son of Champion GUINN married Nancy C. FRANKLIN in the Cowan district (Franklin Co.) in1846. His son, George D.GUINN was a Methodist minister like his father. Nancy se em to have no ties to any of the Franklin families of Franklin County at that time, unless it would be David FRANKLIN. Any info greatly appreciated. Will share-have much speculativeinformation on these families.

Searching for info on: Deofolis/Dolphus/Doll/Dolf TEAGUE b abt 1849 TN d 1898 Marion Co TN area mine. m abt 1869 to Hannah O’Neal b abt 1849 in GA. The 1870 Marion Co,TN Census lists following: District 13, #96-96, TEAGUE Dolphus 21 m works/coal mines TN Hannah 21 f Kp house GA. The 1860 Census of Marion Co. #1001-931: Edward O’Neal 42 GA, Elizabeth 40 GA, Joel A. O’Neal 17 GA, William O’Neal 16 GA, Hannah J. O’Neal 12 GA, Zachariah O’Neal 10 GA, Julia Ann O’Neal 9 AL, Nancy E. O’Nea l 5 AL, Sarah T. O’Neal 1 AL. It appears the Edward O’Neal family lived in Ga before 1850 when they moved to AL in 1850/1851 AL and lived there until abt 1859/1860 when they moved to Marion Co., TN. The Edward O’Neal family is not on Marion Co Tn Census for 1870 so either they moved back to AL or Ga or another Co in TN or someplace else.

HAMPTON
Information on Elizabeth HAMPTON and her children – Reuben (b. TN 1828), Caroline (b. TN 1831), William H. (b. AL? 1842), Harriet (b. 1851). The family lived in Grundy County. Elizabeth was born in TN about 1811 and died between 1881-1899. Don’t know her husband’s given name but I believe she married before 1828. Reuben married Sarah RICHEY in 1849, raised 7 children in Grundy and moved to CA after 1880. Caroline may have marrie d FULTS and/or RHEA ca. 1858. William Hardy (or Hardin?) married M.E. FREEMAN in 1862, Sarah Elizabeth SMITH in 1866 and Bammie (?) after 1884 and died in 1916. I believe Reuben and Wm. both served in the Confederate Army. Harriet may have married Jess e M. GIVENS. Any information would be appreciated but specifically looking for information on Elizabeth’s husband.
