L. and Ermine (Clark) Russell<\/strong>, natives of Kentucky.\u00a0 The father is a retired citizen of Shelbyville, Tenn., and during active life was a merchant tailor by avocation.\u00a0\u00a0 Mr. Russell is a practical printer, and has held positions on the following papers:\u00a0 <em>The American Union<\/em>, <em>American Reserve, Commercial, Gazette,<\/em> of Shelbyville, and on the <em>Rural Sun<\/em>, of Nashville, the <em>Clarksville Tobacco Leaf, Pulaski Citizen, Fayetteville Express <\/em>and <em>Chattanooga Times<\/em>.\u00a0 The <em>Bedford Times<\/em> was established in February 1886, and is in a flourishing condition.<\/p>\n<p>Transcribed by Kathryn Hopkins<\/p>\n<p>Goodspeed Publishing Co.\u00a0<i>History of Tennessee from the Earliest Time to the Present: Together with an Historical and a Biographical Sketch of Maury, Williamson, Rutherford, Wilson, Bedford &amp; Marshall Counties, Besides a Valuable Fund of Notes, Reminescences [Sic], Observations, Etc., Etc<\/i>.
