LONG, WATTS, FRALIX

Does anyone have an 1880 Giles County census index that can look and see if William B. Long and Wife, Eliza are listed. Know they migrated to Giles County and are buried in Pulaski, but don't know what year they arrived. Thanks. Carolyn

REBECCA A THURMAN

Rebecca Ann Thurman married Hinton Hill in 1852 in Lincoln CO TN and according to the local paper (Fayetteville) she died at the age of 19 in 1857. Yet, there is a Rebecca A Thurman showing on the 1860 Giles Co TN page 027 census and a couple other counties. Is this a connection to my Hinton Hill and Rebecca A Thurman by being a relative or is there a mistake somewhere? Is there anyone out there who can help me solve my Thurman mystery?

According to family stories the Thurmans on Rebecca's mother's side was Cherokee Indian. Because she died so young I have never been able to find any family connections.

COOK, GILL

My gggrandfather, John A COOK, was b in Cornwall, Giles Co., TN per his application for a Mexican War pension. He married Charlotte GILL 12-15-1848 in Cornersville, Maury Co., TN. I've not been able to find Cornwall and would like to know where it is and where it is was in relation to Cornersville. I've not found John's parents, if I can find out what district Cornwall was in, maybe I can narrow down who his parents were. Has anyone heard of Cornwall? Thanks for looking
