(d. 1924)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mrs. J.P. HARRISON Called By Death<\/strong> &#8212; <strong>Mrs. J.P. HARRISON<\/strong>, 74 years of age, died at her home in Dyer Wednesday, April 2nd, and was laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Thursday, following funeral services conducted by Rev. SUDDARTH at the home.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. HARRISON had been a resident of Dyer for a number of years, and was favorably known and loved by a host of people. \u00a0She was a member of the Cumberland church, having professed faith in Christ and united with that denomination at an early age. \u00a0She was married to<strong> J.P. HARRISON<\/strong> June 2, 1870. \u00a0To this union eight children were born, five of whom survive &#8212; <strong>Mrs. Bud HUDSON<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. Sam PYBASS<\/strong> of Trenton, \u00a0<strong>Mrs. Elmer CARRIER, Mrs. Gentry MCFARLAND<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. Marvin WELLONS<\/strong> of Dyer. \u00a0She was a kind and devoted mother and neighbor, always ready to assist her children and attend to home duties. \u00a0Besides her children she leaves one sister, <strong>Mrs. Gillie MARTIN<\/strong>, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: \u00a0Dyer Reporter, 10 Apr 1924, pg. 1<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mrs. J.P.
