Important Research Notes: Tennessee required birth and death certificates in 1908, but enforcement did not occur until 1914.  Still, rural areas have spotty records until about 1921-1922. DAILY, George, b. 6 Apr 1794 N.C., d. 16 Apr 1876 Blount Co., AL, was drafted from Franklin Co., TN, 28 Jan 1814, served until 14 May 1814 under Capt. Solomon George’s 3rd Regt. of Tenn. Militia.
