Five generations of Delzells lived in Franklin County beginning with John Delzell (1808-1870), who migrated from Blount County, TN. about 1828. John, his young wife Louisa, her father and uncle settled at the foot of the mountain between Greenhaw and Cowan. John Delzell and Louisa B.
