Whitlock Paid the Penalty for Murdering and Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Somerville, Tenn., August 13 &#8212; <strong>Wm. H. WHITLOCK<\/strong> was hanged here today in the presence of a large crowd of people. The crime for which <strong>WHITLOCK<\/strong> was hanged was the murder of Constable <strong>W.D.
