Mrs. Waynick died Tuesday in Ferndale. A native of Houston County she lived in Dickson County for many years before moving to Michigan. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Amanda Myers, Huntsville, Alabama; Mrs. Christine Counts, Midway City, Calif.; Mrs. Lorene Armstrong, Detroit; Mrs. Idell Fielder, Madison Heights, Mich.; and Mrs. Irene Autrey, Ferndale; five sons, Dewey Waynick, Detroit; Leslie Waynick and Floyd Waynick both of Dickson; Louie Waynick, Nashville, and Linzy Waynick, Camden, S.C.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong>Source:<\/strong> This information was\u00a0provided by agood friend of Dickson County, Jim Bailey<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Age\u00a085, of Ferndale, Michigan, were held today at Dickson Funeral Home with burial in Waynick Cemetery near Slayden.
