Prayer services will be held at Roesch-Patton, Dorris &amp; Charlton funeral home. Regular services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pond Presbyterian Church in Dickson. Burial will be in the Adams&#8217; family cemetery in Dickson County. Mr. Smith worked intermittently for Newspaper Printing Corp., agent for the Banner and The Tennessean, in various circulation capacities for a total of 48 years until his retirement in 1972. At one time, he was a West Nashville route manager. He was a native of Dickson County and a son of the late Charles Romuald and Lue Eldridge Smith. He was married to the former Clarice Pendergrass. Mr. Smith was a member of Pond Presbyterian Church. Survivors besides his wife include two daughters, Mrs. Norma S. Drake and Mrs. Connie S. Schmutz, both of Nashville; five sons, Lt. Col.
