My gggrandfather was Charles A. Taylor born in Dekalb county, Tennessee abt. 1858. In the 1870 census he was
listed in the household of Gelitha Taylor. In 1860 in the household of Tibitha Taylor. In 1850 she was listed as
Tabitha Taylor. Since Charles A. named a daughter Talitha, this may have been her name. Does anyone know who Tabitha/Tibitha/Gelitha
(possibly Talitha) Taylor is and her parents? She was born abt 1826 in Tennessee and had the children Hannah, Mary
F., John A., Benjamin F., and James S. She was head of household in all three census. Husband, if any, is unknown.

Benjamin CANTRELL, son of James and Keziah Cantrell, was born in TN about 1815, TN, and married Mary Polly ADCOCK
about 1835, probably in Warren or DeKalb Co. Mary was born about 1813 in SC. They are my great-great grandparents.
Their children included Welcome ("Weck"), Martha Jane, James Denton, Preston Franklin, Jasper, Newton
Edward, and Sarah Catherine Cantrell. I am seeking the identity of Mary's parents. One internet source says she
was the daughter of Preston and Mary Green Adcock of Dibrell, Warren Co. Another internet source says she was the
daughter of Henry Adcock, Sr. of Jefferson, DeKalb Co. A third internet source says she was the daughter of Lott
Adcock of DeKalb. At least two of these sources are mistaken. If any one has documented evidence of her ancestry,
I would appreciate your sharing with me.
