Reuben HAIL was born 1802 in Tennessee. He appears in the 1830 census for Smith County, Tennessee. I believe
that he was related to the HAIL-HALE family in DeKalb county. I have info on Reuben's life and descendants after
1830 when he left Tennessee for Missouri. I need to find Reuben's parents. Any other relatives or descendants who
stayed in Tennessee would be nice to know about. Especially who his parents were. Thanks so much Brian in springfield
mo.

they lived in Dekalb county before moving to Hardin county. W. C Garner was born in 1848 and I found him in 1880
census in hardin so it would have to be the 1870's that he was here. They might have had twin girls at the time

I am looking for any information about Philip Palmer (Sr) and Philip Palmer (Jr). They are both listed in the
Smith County 1820 census. They lived in part of Smith County that later became part of DeKalb County. I believe
it is Philip Sr. who is referenced in Dekalb county history as being a revolutionary war veteran, and early settler
in the area, and that he is buried in Alexandria (perhaps in South View, or East View, cemetery) He may have moved
from North Carolina to Tennessee, after the Revolution. He may have had two wives, the second possibly named Rachel
Davis. His son, Philip Jr. was married to Lucinda Palmer. She is listed in the 1850 census for Dekalb as a widow,
along with the names of her children. The Palmers were related to the Pistoles of DeKalb county by the marriage
of Edmund Palmer (son of Philip Jr.) to Rhoda Pistole.
