Katherine Alexander November 21, 1861-May 26, 1947
Permelia Katherine "Catherine" Alexander was the daughter of
Eli and Bettie Smith Davis. She was born on November 21, 1861 in DeKalb
Co, TN. She married Reuben Alexander on Sept. 5, 1882 in DeKalb Co.,
TN. She died May 26, 1947 of bronchial pneumonia and had
previously fractured her hip. The informant on her death certificate
was: Mrs Willie Harrington of Watertown. She was buried March 27, 1947.
Reuben Alexander was born July 10, 1855, the son of William Alexander
and Nancy Bires, and died October 1, 1917 in District 4, DeKalb Co.,
TN, all according to his death certificate. Location of his burial was
not listed.
