James A Gibbs was the son of Isaac and Mary (Wooden) Gibbs, being born
on March 15, 1851 in DeKalb Co., TN. He married Martha Martin on December 18,
1872 in DeKalb Co, TN. He died on December 29, 1918 in DeKalb Co., TN,
residing in Alexandria at the time of his death.
Martha Martin was born on April 1, 1852 to Jim and Elizabeth (Wooden)
Martin. Her death certificate says she died on November 18, 1922 in
Alexandria, DeKalb, TN. The informant was Hudson Gibbs and burial was
on November 19. She died of pulmonary tuberculosis.
