Bird F Henley was born December 20, 1858 to Smith and Eleanor
"Ellender" (Coble) Henley. He married Mary T Scott on October 31, 1880
in DeKalb Co, TN. He died September 3, 1911.
Mary T Scott was born February 15, 1859. Her parents were Manson B and
Jan "Jane" (Sandlin) Scott. There is no death date on her tombstone.
The 1900 and 1910 censuses of DeKalb Co TN show them in the 20th
District.
Their children were: Jimmie (b. abt. 1886), Myrtle (b. abt. 1890),
Nellie E. (b. abt. 1888 or 1891- censuses differ), Alvie Gene (b. abt.
1893 or 1898) md. Crook then Jones- buried here, Willie (b. abt. 1895-
missing by 1910), Obie Verna "Dutch" Henley (b. 1890) buried
here, Johnnie (b. abt. 1898- missing by 1910).
