Samuel was the son of A. J. Vantrease and Carolina Malone. Samuel
died in Briggs Infirmary in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN. Samuel
Vantrease married Delia C. Adamson on April 24, 1878 in Wilson Co., TN.
Delia
Catherine Adamson was the daughter of Simeon Adamson (b. abt. 1824
Wilson Co., TN) and Vadney Jane Measles (b. abt. 1825 DeKalb Co., TN)
[md. Nov. 5, 1840 Wilson Co., TN]. Delia died in District 5, Wilson
Co., TN in the Lebanon area.

Delia is listed as having 9 children born, but only 3 living.
