NANCY wife of J A Jennings
August 22, 1839-September 9, 1900
“Gone, but not forgotten.”
Nancy Chapman married J. A. Jennings on October 2, 1878
in Wilson Co., TN. She had no children. She was the daughter of Lucia
(m) and Ailsa (MNU) Chapman. Hiram Chapman was her brother, and he was
the father of Linsey Chapman and of Tennessee (Chapman) Walden of the
next two grave markers in this cemetery.
It
is known that in the 1900 census that Nancy had her sister "Elizabeth
Blythe" living with her, and that Elizabeth [nee Chapman] was listed as
widowed (Calvin Blythe- md. Dec. 7, 1871 Wilson Co., TN) with her two
children living there: William H. (1884) and John C. (1889) Blythe.
