Margaret (nee) Woods and husband C. W. Neal. The 1850 census of
District 13, Wilson Co., TN
shows this Margaret (listed born 1817) as spouse of Claborn/Clayborn W
Neal. She married Claborn Wesley Neal (b. abt. 1808 according to
census) on November 2,
1840 in Wilson Co., TN. Claborn had been previously married to Amy
Moore on March 28, 1827 in Wilson Co., TN, with children in his 1850
household from that marriage. Margaret is missing in the 1860 census,
and all her children are still living with Claborn. Based on that, the
death year appears to be 1856 for Margaret, and the stone photo shows
wear on the
death year, but appears to be 1856 also.

Neal's stone once stood immediately to the right of Margaret's stone.
as can be seen in the photo the stone is shattered and on the ground
several feet away. Most of the "AGED" line is missing, but there is a
small square-shaped remnant of the bottom left corner of his stone
still standing in the ground to the right of Margaret's stone with part
of his age, in years, on that.
