Lowell Dewey Alexander's TN delayed birth certificate states he was
born June 12, 1901 in Liberty, DeKalb Co., TN, the son of Reubin and
Cathrine (Davis) Alexander. He married Willie M. Pickett on April 29,
1923 in Wilson Co., TN.
Willie Mamie Pickett was the daughter of Henry James and Martha Delie
(Vandagriff) Pickett, and was born in DeKalb Co., TN. She died in
Davidson Co., TN where she was residing at the time.
One son, Hurshell Lee Alexander died one year old and was also buried
here without a stone (b. January 2, 1932- d. July 6, 1933 Alexandria,
DeKalb Co., TN).
One daughter, Mamie Alexander, (b. Oct 14, 1935- d. July 31, 1937
