JOSIE PARKER

Josie (nee Bennett) Parker was born January 11, 1855 in TN and died
February 6, 1923 in Wilson Co, TN. Burial was on February 7,
1923. The informant on her death certificate, Mrs E A
Vandagriff, did not know her parent’s names. She died from sarcoma of
left thigh. The doctor was J R Hudson. W J Avant was the undertaker.
Josie married May 19, 1891 in DeKalb Co., TN to Dickson/Dixon A.
Parker, who was born abt. 1829-1831 and died between 1910 and 1920. In
the 1920 census Josie lived with her son, Herman, and his wife, Lula,
in District 13, Wilson Co., TN. Before that she lived with her husband
in DeKalb Co., TN.
Dickson/Dixon A. Parker was first married to Malinda Adaline Hendrixson
(md. 1847 or before), Elizabeth Bean (md. 1871), Olivia Dukes (md.
1874), and last to Josie Bennett (md. 1891).
