John Wesley Talley was the son of James Thomas and Elizabeth (Neal) Talley,
both parents buried here also. He married Sallie Clayburn on June 28,
1900. She had been living with John's mother- as a servant in 1900, and
John also lived there. The census was taken before the marriage by
several weeks. John died November 15, 1937 in Jennings, Jefferson Davis Co, LA.
Sallie Clayburn/Claiborne's parents were John and Roxanna (Baliff) Clayburn/Claiborn [and similar spellings] of DeKalb Co., TN.
Their children:
(1) Willie (f)(b. abt. 1901) md. Reeves and divorced
(2) Erby (b. abt. 1903)
