LILLIE ROBINSON 1884-1917
William Chester Robinson was born September 4, 1886 in Tennessee to
John W and Mary E Tarpley Robinson, his father buried here. He married
August 26, 1906 in Wilson County, TN to Lillie Mabe. He died March 28,
1932 in Alexandria, (District 13) DeKalb, TN of cancer. The informant
on his death certificate was Tom Robinson.
Lillie (Belle?) Mabe was the daughter of John and Mary (Clouse) Mabe.
She was born in 1884 according to the tombstone, but the death
certificate gives the birth year as 1886 in Alexandria, TN,
possibly in Wilson County. Another source gives her birthday as January
30. She died March 11, 1917 in Alexandria, (District 13) Wilson, TN.
She was buried on March 12. The informant on her death certificate was
her husband, Chester Robinson.
Their children:
(1) Leona (b. 1907) md. Argil Everette McMillen, both buried here
(2) Alice (September 22, 1909)
(3) Stillborn daughter (1917) buried here
In the 1920 census of Wilson Co., TN, Chester has a wife "Lela" listed,
and his two daughters are in the household, but there is no marriage
record for this second wife.
