John Young spent Saturday with his daughter, Mrs. Fannie Patterson.
Elmer, the little s/o G.L. Smith, is very sick at this time.
Mrs. Tennie Hutcherson is still sinking very rapidly.
W.H. Tribble and wife paid rutherford county relatives a visit.
Jim and Ike Harvey were in town Saturday night.
Posey Jennings and family were visiting at J.L. Davidson's Sunday.
Messrs. J.M. Jennings, W.H. Oran, Ike Harvey, George Turner and Tom Robertson were visiting in town Sunday evening.
Sanders Lutrel is ceiling the Hebron school house and painting blackboards this week and W.H. Tribble is preparing the lumber to make the seats. Mr. Turney is teaching in the church in the meantime.
Miss Lillie Smith had a light attack of diptheria this week.
J.L. Word has purchased the farm of A.J. Thompson near Greenvale.
Tobe Thomas, our worthy overseer, is having the road worked out this week.
J.L. Davidson and W.F. Tribble are buying wheat in this community and hauling it to Watertown.
Babe Sneed has something of a curiousity in the way of a calf; it being entirely destitute of hair.
Dr. Gid Alsup of Wilford was here this week selling electric belts.
Miss Zelon Fite was thrown from a horse and had her arm broken.
S.L. McAffrey and mother left for Lebanon yesterday.
Mrs. Eliza McBroom of Murfreesboro is visiting relatives here.
Prof. William Turney of Hebron academy was mixing with his many friends Sunday.
Messrs. Eli Hass and Cliff Williams of Lebanon were here visiting friends.
Rev. J.T. Oakley preached the funeral of Mrs. Dollie Bryan Sunday.
Rev. R.S. Robertson of Tullahoma preached at the Christiam church Sunday evening.
Mrs. Geo. Davenport is on the sick list this week.
Misses Hattie and Nellie Alexander, two of Porterfield's charming young ladies have been visiting our village.
Walter Hancock is at home again, enjoying himself with the fairer sex, as usual.
The young people gathered at J. H. Champion's last Saturday.
Charlie Robinson opened school at Four Corner Monday.
