Grave Monument Locations in the Old South is a survey of the locations of the various places in the Old South where stone, brick, and wood monuments and gravehouses occured. We are looking for examples of old time rectangular and triangular burial monuments as found in the Appalachian Mountains, the Cumberland Plateau, and the adjoining piedmont areas. If you know of other of these types of monuments, please send an e-mail to Fred Smoot.
